I have to say that saving 50% on current fabric is the best Christmas present I could give myself. Thank you Quilter's Cottage in Fallbrook! I found a lovely red and beige toile print for a Christmas quilt. A cute white dog on green and red plaid background for another Christmas quilt. And best of all I was able to find the perfect red christmas fabric and the perfect beige and gold Christmas fabric for the queen size poinsettia quilt kit I bought at Amidon Quiltworks. Now it is 15th on my lidt of quilts to sew.
I haven't been sewing. That's OK. I have begun to reorganize my office which contains my fabric stash. I'm a third of the way done. And yes, everything is a mess. I will probably continue to reorganize every 6 months or so. I am trying to condense my stash. Here is what I have done.
I have lots of plastic see through boxes. Unfortunately they are different sizes. However, I have separated my colors and found appropriate sized boxes for each color, Asian theme, Christmas theme and batiks. It's a little hard when Fabio (my black Lhasa Apso) is all over the stash and now laying on the back of the chair and my back as I type. He wants my attention 24/7. He's a good boy now that he's the king of the chair.
I'll update every few days as my room gets more organized. Did I mention I also have my Circuit, a Husky felting machine, lots if thread and the biggest part is the stamps! I have to reorganize my scrapbook area too. It's in the same room. I will have this room organized before my sister Dee Dee comes from Denver. She has seen it as the mess it has been.
